Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd kept building on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She knocked out all her competitors in the initial round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and earned a reward for the performance of the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
