Maybe one of her agents decided to decline the job for her, but without informing the actress. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft script of a character of the TV series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. The character was weak enough to warrant her acceptance of the part. Glen wrote an entirely different character to play Sheba and it was more strong. After reading the initial 25 pages of the script The Living Legend she accepted the part immediately. The show lasted for just one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
